As PCN Level 3 Certified Thermographers, we are in a unique position to help you with your thermography program. PCN is a third party certification scheme setup and run by BINDT (British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing) in accordance with ISO 18436. BINDT is an independant certification body, and has strict conditions for certification of thermographers. Certification is based on those conditions being met, and passing the appropriate exams, as set by BINDT. They provide third party certification independent of employers and training companies.

Bob Berry is the only Level 3 thermographer in Ireland verified to ISO standards and as such we are in a position to help with setting up and running your thermography program, monitoring and supervising your thermographers, and writing your procedures and work practices. We are also in a position to offer a mentoring program for your thermographers.

As certified level 3 Thermographers by a third party, we are in a position to help you to conform with ISO 18436, whether it is an in-house program or a thermography consultancy. Your thermographers should be following procedures written by a Level 3, and they should be consulting with a Level 3 on advanced thermography issues. A Certified Level 3 thermographer should oversee your thermographers, supervise the program, and check the work being done by your thermographers.

Third party certification to ISO standards is the ONLY true certification, and BINDT are a highly respected organisation with insurance companies, certifing bodies and end users. Certification is independent of employers and training companies. It is your responsibility to ensure that your service providers conform to ISO standards. Thermal Vision currently employs the ONLY ISO Level 3 certified thermographer in Ireland. Others claim to be Level 3, but this is often untrue or mis-leading.
